Smriti Mandhana is an Indian left-handed batter and the vice-captain of the Indian women's national cricket team, known for her aggressive and elegant stroke play. Born in 1996, she made her international debut in 2013 and holds numerous records, including the fastest century by an Indian woman in ODIs and being the first Indian woman to score a century in all three formats (Test, ODI, and T20I). She has received accolades such as the ICC Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year and the Arjuna Award.

In April 2022, while a match between Maharshatra and Rajasthan, Smriti Mandhana was involved in a heated altercation with Rajasthan players after being Mankaded during a women’s T20 match. The dismissal left Mandhana enraged, following which she was spotted exchanging words with Rajasthan players.
